Ahmad Wagaafe, a young teenage boy was recently involved in a crypto hack.It was reported that the young man had Hacked approximately 119.8 Bitcoin which was equivalent to $5.2 M Bitcoin. However,Ahmad uses the SIM-swap technique to carry out his misdeeds, where he hijacks crypto executives’ mobile numbers.

They would later transfer the targeted Mobile numbers over to their own phones. This same scenario applied to Ethereum co-founder Vitalike as his SIM- card was also swapped and his X account was used to post fake NFT giveaways.

However, once they have access to your phone number the gang automatically breaches your email account and empties the crypto Wallets. Furthermore, after acquiring the personal contact information of crypto executives and investors, he immediately reaches out to cell phones and convinces them that they are the legitimate owners.

Following more reports, Ahmad Wagaafe resides in Arizona, and the boy’s targeted victims are from Northern California. San Francisco’s court is the court in charge of hearing the case. San Francisco’s federal court has ordered Ahmad to surrender $5.2 million in Bitcoin and a sports car to the US Authority. Additionally, 93,420 Stellar coins worth $11,770 were taken by the authorities. A used BMW sports car with a market value of about $60,000 was also taken.
