Here is what we have in the crypto world today:
- Vitalik Buterin transferred $1,000,000 of ETH to Coinbase Exchange
- Somalia banned TikTok and Telegram.
- Cheems Balltze, the Shiba Inu dog died.
Vitalik Buterin transferring 600 ETH to Coinbase
Some said he was paying his real-estate mortgage. Others said he was paying himself a monthly salary after on-chain data suggested Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin had just transferred $1,000,000 worth of ETH to Coinbase.
The crypto community is yet to establish the motive behind the transaction, however, a majority of Twitter users believe it’s the start of another massive sell-off. Not to spread FUD, but on-chain data from Glassnode has historically proved exchange inflows indicate upcoming sell-offs.
Meanwhile, it is the intelligent data aggregator platform Arkham that confirmed the wallet really belonged to Vitalik Buterin.
Already, whales have moved over 1.12 million Ethereum coins from their wallets into exchanges over the last 2-months. These whales include wallets holding between 10,000 to 100,000 ETH coins.
Somalia banned TikTok and Telegram
There are three things Somalia does not want to see in its country, 1XBet, TikTok, and Telegram.
This news comes after the Horn of Africa’s nation permanently banned the use of TikTok and Telegram. According to Somalia’s Minister of Communication and Technology, these applications have negatively affected the community’s culture, and lifestyles and ushered a bad habits crises.
According to the minister, the move to ban TikTok, 1XBet and Telegram aims at limiting the spread of propaganda, preventing gambling, and the spread of indecent content.
Cheems Balltze, the Shiba Inu dog died
In a truly “ruff” turn of events, Cheems Balltze, the legendary cheeseburger-loving Shiba Inu that melted our hearts with viral images, has peacefully drifted off to doggy dreamland on August 18th.
This doggo extraordinaire, lovingly known as “Ball Ball,” left behind a legacy of joy and wagging tails as he battled cancer like the true champ he was.
At the ripe age of 12, Ball Ball crossed the rainbow bridge, leaving us all in tears – the kind that even a cheeseburger couldn’t quite fix.
This Shiba Inu breed has not only taken the internet by storm with its adorableness but has also left its pawprints in the world of cryptocurrencies.
