After the loss of $870,000 from the Cuban Meta mask wallet, the guy was able to recover 3M USDC. As per the investigation carried out, it was reported that Mark Cuban had not been active for about 160 days.
All these hacking activities were notified by Wazz who saw an unusual transaction in his wallet that was draining all assets from Mark’s wallet. It was later reported that Mark’s wallet had different assets like USDC, USDT,stETH, ETH, and WETH, each containing 175k,7.02,338.21,5.29,697.48K respectively.
Wazz later shared a screenshot of the by transaction on X platform ‘Twitter’ and asked if the wallet transaction had actually been withdrawn by the actual owner or if something was going wrong. Following more reports, it was said that Mark later confirmed his account after Wazz’s tweet.
X users who came across the tweet did not hesitate to give their views. Some said that Mark may have signed on sometimes prohibited in Metamask which led to the attack. Other users disagreed and said that it may all be caused by his unlocking which was easy to sign in.
